365 Project - Day 215 a few first impressions of New York!

 

With Niklas sick, I haven't gotten to our New York pictues as fast as I would have liked to. But here are the first few "first impressions" of our first visit to New York City!!

365 Project - Day 214

Although I hinted at more New York pictures coming today, they will have to wait a bit. We had a rough  night, getting up every hour because Niklas was crying and coughing. This morning he just layed there with no energy to do anything. We spent the morning at the doctor and found out that he has a really bad bronchitus bordering on pneuomonia. I've never seen him so "schlapp" (listless). He doesn't even seem to have energy to lift his head. The doctor said that was a typical sign of pneuomonia. He's on antibiotics now and we are hoping and praying that it doesn't cross that border and turn into pneuomonia. Just yesterday, he had a cough, but was running around chasing our cat and being mischevious and today he's just lying there hardly moving. It makes me sad to see him like this.

365 Project - Day 213

My daughter and I are back from New York! We had a fantastic time there with my sister and her family. I'm still in the process of going through pictures so I will just upload one today. This was taken in Central Park. After 2 days of wet snow falling and wind, we finally got to see a hint of sun and clear skies. We had hoped to be leaving winter behind us in Germany but we got even more winter in New York City!! Lots more pictures will be coming, so be sure to check back tomorrow if you want to see more!

taking a holiday break!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm taking a bit of a break from my blog. My daughter and I will be in New York for the next week. Of course, I'll be busy taking lots of pictures, but I don't plan on being online or posting any till we get back!
