My Blog is moving....

I'm in the process of moving my blog to a new address: to go with my new website.

Since I'm busy with setting up my new website and blog, I haven't been taking much pictures lately but hopefully the sites will soon stop dominating my time so I can get back to what I love doing!

This will will most likely be my last post on this blog, so if you're looking for me, just click on the link above!!

The Mirror

The good you find in others, is in you too.
The faults you find in others, are your faults as well.
After all, to recognize something you must know it.
The possibilities you see in others, are possible for you as well.
The beauty you see around you, is your beauty.
The world around you is a reflection, a mirror showing you the person you are.
To change your world, you must change yourself.
To blame and complain will only make matters worse.
Whatever you care about, is your responsibility.
What you see in others, shows you yourself.
See the best in others, and you will be your best.
Give to others, and you give to yourself.
Appreciate beauty, and you will be beautiful.
Admire creativity, and you will be creative.
Love, and you will be loved.
Seek to understand, and you will be understood.
Listen, and your voice will be heard.
Teach, and you will learn.
Show your best face to the mirror,
and you'll be happy with the face looking back at you.

new website!

I've been slacking a bit this week on taking pictures. There's a good reason for it! I've been putting together a new website. There's still work to be done on it, but here it is live:

And I've also edited a few nature pictures from our trip last week to the Mecklenburg Lake District, here is a little slide show of them:

After reading this post: I was really inspired to try some of the tips for capturing a great sun flare. Walking through the forest gave me the perfect opportunity to test it out.

This picture was taken with my tamron 28-75mm lens, ISO 200, f/14, SS 160.
