365 Project- Days 35, 36, and 37

Because of my daughter's birthday and my laptop dying at the same time, days 35, 36 and 37 will be in one post. I've taken lots of picture, just have not had a chance to upload them because I needed time to get my new laptop set up.

Going for a walk with my husband and my youngest son. Niklas loves walking, but his little legs get tired fast so it's good to have the child carrier backpack along!

edit bonus

Yesterday, I surprisingly came across a one year picture of me that I had never seen before! I couldn't resist playing around a bit with the scanned picture (from 1967):

365 Project - DAY 32

What happens when children pour water through a funnel?
They begin to understand science and math concepts such as flow, force, gravity, and volume.

What happens when children mold sand to create a tunnel?
They develop skills in areas such as problem solving and predicting. They also gain knowledge about absorption and the properties of sand and water, and what happens when they are mixed together.

Sand and water encourage children to use everything from science skills to creative thinking skills. But most of all they are just plain fun! (http://www2.scholastic.com/browse/article.jsp?id=3748206)

And what happens when Niklas mixes sand and water?
He discovers a nice gritty cocktail for a hot summer day!
